It is a fact that container houses are built cheaper than traditional houses. For this reason, it has become more and more popular around the world every day.

This gorgeous container home is located in Amagansett, New York, United States. The marvelous container house serves as a private art studio in New York. Two 40 FT shipping containers fixed to the high foundation wall were used in the project. The total usable area of the shipping container house is 840ft².

The two story container cabin plan features an impressive main living area. In the project, an open plan design was applied, in which the entire area is visible. All other areas, including the main living area of the container house, are very stylishly designed with light colors. Thus, the interior of the house was made larger and more spacious.

To raise the ceiling of the shipping container house, the bottoms of the containers were cut and joined together. Thus, the art gallery gained a wide atmosphere with high ceilings. In the house, the transportation between the floors is provided with the help of a small and stylish staircase added to the structure.

The shipping containers were painted black to blend in with the lush forest and hide in the shade of the pine trees. When you look at the container house from the outside, it looks like a part of the forest.
